General Builder / Substation Civils Operative – Long-Term Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced General Builder / Substation Civils Operative to join our growing team, delivering essential infrastructure projects across the Electricity Northwest (ENW) network throughout the Northwest of England. This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate, offering consistent work across live and developing substations. We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The successful candidate will have experience in several of the following areas:- General building works including brickwork and blockwork
- Structural repairs and concrete repairs
- Minor roofing and maintenance works
- Security fencing installation
- General civil engineering and groundwork activities
- Working within live substation environments
- Delivering works safely in accordance with RAMS and utility specifications
- Working alongside site supervisors and project managers to deliver projects
- safely, on time and to a high standard

We are looking for an experienced Utilities Operative (Electricity) to join our growing team, based in Chorley, Northwest England.
This is a long-term opportunity for the right person, with ongoing work across our utility electrical projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong understanding of the electricity network environment, and is looking to become a valued member of a growing team.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The successful candidate will have experience in several of the following areas:- Plinth Construction
- Fault Excavations
- Un-looping and Re-Servicing
- Asset Replacement
- Overlays
- Overhead-to-underground works
- Substation excavations
- Electrical utility civils works
- Working within live electricity network environments
